Emergency Exam

In the case of an emergency, the doctor may do a limited exam and x-rays and address just the area of concern because getting you out of pain would be the #1 priority. This way the doctor can find the source of the problem and present you the best option to get eliminate the pain as soon as possible.

Fluoride Varnish

Our hygienists may recommend fluoride treatments to help with tooth decay and sensitivity.

Contrary to popular belief, fluoride has many benefits for both children and adults. When teeth are forming, fluoride strengthens the enamel surface and makes it more resistant to decay. For adult teeth, fluoride helps repair a cavity in its earlier stages and rebuilds the enamel layer of the tooth.

Brush & Bond

If you experience extreme sensitivity with hot or cold foods or even cold air, then Brush & Bond might be for you.

The sensitive, inner part of a tooth is called dentin, which contains small hollow tubes called tubules through which sensation is transmitted to the tooth's nerve center. When the tubules are exposed, sensations like heat or cold are able to reach the nerves in the tooth, resulting in pain.

An effective and affordable solution, Brush & Bond permanently seals the tubules and protects the tooth's nerve center to prevent sensitivity. You'll be able to eat and drink with no worries!

Jaw soreness and headaches can be symptoms of teeth grinding. Stress and anxiety can lead to teeth grinding, as well as sleeping disorders, missing or crooked teeth, or an abnormal bite. Our doctors may recommend a mouthguard to help protect your teeth while you sleep.

Mouthguards are also important for anyone involved in sports and outdoor activities. They help minimize trauma to the mouth and face and help prevent broken or missing teeth. Our lab technicians can make a custom-made mouthguard right here in our office.

Wisdom Tooth Extractions

Wisdom teeth (third molars) are the last teeth to erupt and typically come in during your late teens or early twenties. Not everyone has wisdom teeth, and those who do may not necessarily need them removed. However, sometimes extraction is necessary due to decay, pain or crowding. The doctor will apply a local anesthetic to help make the extraction as comfortable for you as possible. Once the tooth has been carefully and gently extracted, the doctor will go over post-op instructions for you to follow.

Sedation Dentistry

If you have anxiety about visiting the dentist, you're not alone. It is completely normal to feel nervous before having a procedure done. Our staff can discuss your sedation options with you.

Oral sedation helps you relax and get comfortable. Our doctors can determine which medications are appropriate for the type of treatment you will be receiving. For certain medications, a driver may be necessary to transport you after your visit.

We can also provide nitrous oxide, also known as "laughing gas", which is a colorless gas used for its calming effect. It is safe and effective in helping you feel more relaxed during procedures. You simply breathe in, and it starts working within minutes of inhaling it. It is safe to drive afterwards because it wears off quickly and there are no long-lasting effects.

Your comfort if one of our top priorities. Our staff will be more than happy to discuss your options with you. We want to ensure you have the most pleasant experience possible.
